Forces Help to Buy (FHTB) Scheme

The new Forces Help to Buy Scheme was launched on 1st April 2014 and offers regular service personnel loans of up to 50% of salary towards the purchase of a home. Initially covering a 3-year period, the scheme is the first part of the new employment model (NEM).
The launch of FHTB marks a significant step forward in helping service personnel to get onto the property ladder by offering greater financial support towards the cost of buying a home. Helping to overcome the disadvantages that service mobility brings is in line with the principles of the armed forces covenant.

Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage.
